AD Yoder Earns Spot in OHSBCA Hall of Fame

Perry Local Schools is proud to announce that Athletic Director Kevin Yoder has been selected for induction into the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association (OHSBCA) Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Chosen this June by the OHSBCA Board of Directors, Yoder joins an elite group of baseball leaders whose on‑field success, service to the association, and ambassadorship have advanced the game statewide.
Formal induction will take place during the 2026 OHSBCA State Clinic, January 22‑24, at the Columbus Hilton at Easton. The Hall of Fame, established in 1972, will be located at The Ohio State University’s Bill Davis Stadium.
“Kevin’s passion for student‑athletes and building programs rooted in integrity has benefited every school he’s served,” said Nathan Stutz, Superintendent of Perry Local Schools. “We are thrilled that the baseball community is honoring him with this distinction.”
Yoder’s career is a testament to dedication and leadership in Ohio high school athletics. Throughout 26 seasons as a head baseball coach at three different high schools, he built programs known for their competitive excellence, producing winning records and league championships and helping countless student-athletes continue their careers at the collegiate level.
His commitment extended beyond the diamond through his service as Past President of the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association (OHSBCA), where he led statewide coach-education initiatives and community-focused service projects.
In recognition of his rising influence in interscholastic sports leadership, Yoder received the prestigious EIOAAA Horizon Award in 2023. That same year, he was selected from a strong field of candidates to serve as Director of Athletics for Perry Local Schools, where he now oversees 25 varsity sports and leads comprehensive programs focused on student-athlete growth, development, and success.
“I’m humbled to stand alongside so many mentors and friends in the Hall of Fame,” Yoder said. “Baseball has given me far more than I could ever repay, and I share this honor with every player, coach, administrator, and family who has been part of the journey.”
