The Coordinator of Public Relations serves as the communications officer of Perry Local Schools. It is my goal to generate a climate of understanding of the district’s efforts to provide each student with the best possible educational opportunities while keeping the staff, students, parents and community informed about the achievements of the school district.

* Responsibilities include:
Designing, planning, editing, printing and distributing of The Perryite and district promotional publications
* Designing and maintaining of district websites
* Planning and coordinating of community wide events: Fun Day, Senior Citizen Luncheons, Senior Citizen Bingo, etc.
* Developing and organizing opportunities to communicate and involve non-parent residents
* Forming and maintaining a working relationship with local media organizations
* Speaking at public meetings to promote and educate the public on current district issue
